Sip, sip, hooray! It’s fall, the season full of colorful leaves, pumpkins, cozy sweaters, and wine tours! The beauty of the vineyards and cool colored trees are breathtaking this time of year. So, get a group of your friends and enjoy the wonderful wineries of northeast Ohio!
What is a Wine Tour?
With an array of wineries in the area it is hard to find the time to try them all. A wine tour allows you and a group of friends to experience all the wineries at once. This wouldn’t be possible without a designated driver which is why a chauffeur is here for you! A party bus makes it easy to travel safely and in luxury without having to worry about keeping track of the group.
Lake Erie Vines and Wines Trail
This trail makes for an unforgettable day out with spectacular views of Lake Erie and plenty of vineyards. Starting at The Lakehouse Inn Winery located in Geneva-on-the-lake, it’s known for its spectacular views from the patio. Right down the road you will run into Ferrante Winery which has been in business since 1937 and continues to thrive. As you carry on this trail you will stop at Laurentia Vineyards, Old Firehouse Winery, Debonne Vineyards, and none of them will disappoint!
Lake Erie Shores and Islands
The Lake Erie Shores and Islands Wine Trail will take you along the western shores of Lake Erie and offers an assortment of fine wines and munchies. Vermilion Valley Vineyards is the perfect location to start your trip. Their wines are produced with grapes grown in their vineyard and bottle on sight. Authenticity like this is something to never take for granted. Other wineries in the area include Paper Moon Vineyards, Mon Ami Historic Winery, and Firelands Winery. If you have the time, don’t forget to take the ferry to Put-In-Bay island and enjoy Heineman’s Winery. They are the oldest family-owned and operated winery in Ohio!
CLE Urban Winery
Looking to stay closer to downtown Cleveland? Don’t worry we have options for you too! CLE Urban winery, located in Cleveland Heights is in high demand. With no vineyards in sight this is a unique city wine experience. The winery allows customers to bring their own food to enjoy with their wine, so don’t forget to pack accordingly! But, if you do happen to forget, don’t worry they also offer an awesome menu that will accommodate any palate.
How do I Plan My Trip?
When booking a wine tour, a Platinum Party Bus sales representative can help with planning your trip. They keep up to date on the latest information and most popular places based on customer feedback. All you have to worry about is confirming a date, time, location for pickup/drop-off, and number of passengers. When planning a wine tour, Sunday’s are typically the best day. They tend to be about 20% less expensive and there’s less of a chance they’re already sold out. For example, Platinum is already sold out Saturdays for the remainder of 2021!
