Playhouse Square Schedule Set – Commit for Seats Now!

There’s something special about the holidays and for Cleveland, it’s Christmas musicals. Traditionally, the family-friendly “A Christmas Carol” and “Nutcracker” have always drawn full houses. And with indoor venues no longer on lock-down like last year, live theater-goers are anxious and excited to attend shows.

Being driven to the theatre front door before a performance and picked up there after, sets the stage for a more enjoyable, relaxing time. Parking lots are scattered around Playhouse Square. If the weather’s bad, traffic is a nightmare!

Wouldn’t you enjoy the “night out” much more travelling there in a luxury vehicle with refreshments and beverages, while relaxing on comfortable sofa-like seats, chatting and listening to some favorite show tunes? Who wouldn’t!

Taking a spin around Public Square to see the holiday lights and a drive down Euclid taking in the crystal outdoor chandelier that majestically graces the start of the theatre district is so much nicer than fighting traffic to find a nearby theatre district lot with available and affordable spaces.

In fact, when you break down the costs of gas used while stuck in traffic on the freeway, the frustrations of everyone in your group of finding separate parking and then looking for one another in the lobby after walking from lots in the slush, December snow and high winds. A party bus begins to look a lot more enticing. This is especially true, if those in the group share in its cost. Check out this article with tips on planning a special night out here

This season Playhouse is requiring all spectators to be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test on top of wearing a mask for additional protection. Ticket holders will receive information regarding how to verify vaccination or their negative test. These precautions will allow shows to be at full capacity. But even without social-distance, there are only so many seats in a theatre on any given date, so now’s the time to be locking down tickets and party bus/limo transportation!

The bottom line is you need to commit now. So, get your seats reserved, then sit back and anticipate the show!
