2022 NBA All-Star Weekend to Take Place in Cleveland, Ohio

What Basketball fan wouldn’t want to wake up to NBA All-Star Weekend Tickets in a Christmas stocking this holiday season?  While the event doesn’t happen until February 18-20, 2022, it is one that has been anticipated by basketball fans annually for the past 71 years. This year’s event will be at Rocket Mortgage Field House in Cleveland, Ohio, where ticket packages are available at the box office or can be purchased online or here. Day and three-day event tickets are limited, so reserve now!  

In a television interview last week, Destination Cleveland CEO David Gilbert said everyone is prepared with one goal in mind: “That the NBA leaves here in February saying that Cleveland is the best host city they’ve ever had.” Our city’s objective is to have the entire country know that “Cleveland Rocks!”

The Weekend Breakdown

Friday-February 18

  • NBA Crossover 2022 – Celebrate a one-of-a-kind NBA experience by exploring the history of the basketball through memorabilia, attending interviews with NBA players, jamming to live music performances and testing skills with interactive NBA basketball activities. 
  • NBA All-Star Celebrity Game – Actors, recording artists, comedians, as well as non-basketball professional athletes will battle for victory at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game for the highly coveted trophy going to winners.   • NBA Rising Stars Game – The NBA Superstars of tomorrow compete head to head and  to show the crowd the future of the NBA. Cleveland’s young star Evan Mobley will be there, along with other young stars like Scottie Barnes of the Raptors and Jalen Green of the Houston Rockets. Tickets are still available in various sections and can be purchased here.

Saturday-February 19

  • NBA All-Star Media & Practice Day – Fans will have an opportunity see the NBA’s brightest stars interviewed by press from around the globe during Media Day. After their media availability has concluded, the All-Stars and their coaches will take the court for practice. Those attending. will also be entertained by a live, in-arena show featuring interviews with NBA Legends and celebrities. Attend practice day by buying tickets here.
  • All-Star Saturday Night – This fun-filled evening is a showcase of all of the skills that make NBA Superstars what they are. The Skills Challenge highlights precision dribbling and passing prowess. The 3 Point Shootout sees the best in the league. Sunday-February 20

Hold on to your hats, It’s the main event!  “Team LeBron” vs. “Team Giannis”  return to Cleveland to celebrate the 71st All-Star Game and the 75th Anniversary of the league. All the greats of the game will be on the floor showing what makes the NBA All-Star Weekend such an exciting night in and night out! For three quarters, the spectacle will unfold as usual. Then, in the fourth quarter, the game clock turns off, and the teams compete to hit the Final Target Score (the leading team’s score + 24, in honor of Kobe Bryant). Limited tickets are available for the sought after main event but the remaining tickets can be found here.
